Aesthetic medicine has a taste problem. Our entire practice is organised around not contributing to it.

Why we opened

Founded on
saying no.

Dr. Camille Roux spent nine years in dermatology watching patients arrive having been treated by people who never once told them a treatment was a bad idea. Not because those practitioners were dishonest - because a room full of packages and quotas makes saying no expensive.

Maison Serein was built the other way around. Nobody here works on commission. No practitioner has a sales target. The consultation is free precisely so that "not yet" and "you don't need this" remain things we can afford to say.

How we practise

Five commitments.

Nobody works on commission

Not the practitioners, not the front desk. What we recommend is unconnected to what anyone here earns, which is the only structure under which advice can be trusted.

Conservative dosing, always

We would rather bring you back in three weeks to add a little than have you live with too much for six months. Half-syringes are offered as standard, not as a downgrade.

Skincare before procedures

A well-built routine outperforms most single treatments, costs less, and makes everything we do afterwards work better. Many first consultations end here.

Real photographs

Same light, same angle, same lens, no filters. Progress photography that flatters is worse than none, because it stops you knowing whether something is working.

We'll say when to stop

There is a point past which more treatment stops improving anything. We'll tell you when you've reached it, even though it's the least commercial sentence in this business.

Also true

Things we
don't do.

Packages of twelve

Courses are sold when the evidence supports a course, and refunded on the untaken portion if you change your mind.

Treatments on the first visit

Except for facials. Anything clinical is booked separately, so no one makes a decision in a robe having just been told what's wrong with their face.

Before-and-afters of strangers

We show results only with explicit, revocable consent, and we don't retouch them. It's why there are fewer here than on other sites.

The team

Who you'll see.

Four practitioners, all licensed, all treating you personally from consultation through follow-up.

Questions

Honestly
answered.

Will I look like I've had something done?
Not if we've done our job. Conservative dosing and preserved movement are the house style, and if you ask for something we think will read as obviously treated, we'll say so and offer an alternative. Clients most often report that people ask whether they've been on holiday.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, forty-five minutes, with no obligation and no deposit. It exists so that we're able to recommend nothing at all when that's the right answer, which happens more than you'd think.
I'm in my twenties. Is it too early?
For most procedural treatments, yes, and we'll tell you that. What is worth doing early is sun protection, a sensible routine, and treating acne properly before it scars. Come in and we'll build that with you.
What if something goes wrong?
You call us, and you'll reach a practitioner rather than a receptionist. Complications are rare and nearly all are correctable when addressed quickly. Review appointments for any adverse reaction are never charged.
Do you treat all skin tones?
Yes, and it matters for device selection. Our lasers are chosen to be safe across the Fitzpatrick range, and Julien will explain exactly which settings apply to your skin and why some treatments carry different risk profiles.

Come and talk
it through.

No pressure, no packages, and a written plan you can take away and think about.
